If you already utilise a Google Analytics account to track traffic on your website and/or conversions from other sources, we suggest always using Google friendly URLs when supplying creatives to run on the MessageSpace network. You can even use these specially-crafted links on Twitter, Facebook, or email newsletters. 

Generating a URL

When supplying creatives to run on the MessageSpace network, make sure to use the Google URL builder to craft a link that can be easily tracked using your own Google Analytics account.

Here is how we recommend filling out the fields:

Website URL: 

  • The landing page you want to send the visitor to, when they click on your ad.

Campaign Source: messagespace

  • The campaign source should be consistent across all of your campaigns, and will allow you to track visitor data from an top-level perspective over time.

Campaign Medium: display or push

  • This allows you to break down traffic by campaign type. Our PUSH product automatically formats links to track in your own Google Analytics dashboard.

Campaign Name:

  • This should be a short-and-sweet name similar to that of your campaign, ie: “report-2017” or “product-offering-name”

After filling in the above information, click “Generate URL” and use that link when supplying creatives to run on the MessageSpace network.
